Flexible Mortgage Payment Plan - ACH Enrollment

Managing your mortgage payments is easy when you enroll in our Flexible Payment Plan. SimplyÌýchoose the option that matches your schedule, and your monthly payments willÌýbe withdrawn automatically from your checking or savings account. It's more convenient than sending payments by check, plus you'll save on postage.

Please note:ÌýEnrolling in the Flexible Payment Plan does not change theÌýprincipal and interest payment arrangement specified in your mortgageÌýloan documents. Withdrawn funds will be applied to yourÌýmortgage when sufficient funds have accumulated to make a fullÌýmonthlyÌýpayment as outlined in your mortgage promissory note.

Your Mortgage Account is currently enrolled in Flexible Drafting. Please note, the drafting schedule that you select may cancel any prior draft schedule that currently exists on your account.

Select the desired Flexible Payment Plan option. Changes made today will not be reflected for 2 business days.*
To avoid interruption of payment drafting, please select a withdrawal start date that will allow the full payment to be drafted prior to the end of the grace period. Must begin at least 5 days in the future
Please select a date later than Date 1. The chosen draft dates must allow for the full monthly payment to be satisfied by the end of the grace period.* Draft Date 2 must be at least 4 days after but no later than 23 days after Draft Start Date 1.

You can choose to add an additional amount to EACH electronic withdrawal to be applied to your outstanding loan principal. Do not enter the amount of your regular Mortgage Payment. This field is for Additional Principal Only.

Flexible Payment Plan Terms and Conditions

You must agree to the terms and conditions below by selecting the checkbox that follows:

  • I authorize M&T Bank, its authorized representatives, and service providers to initiate electronic withdrawals from my designated account to make payments on my mortgage.
  • I understand that banks and ACH operators such as NACHA are entitled to rely on account and routing numbers asÌý given by me and that I will be liable for any losses incurredÌý by any person if I have given a wrong account number for my bank account or the wrong routing number (encoded on the front of my check) for my bank, and if as a result the wrong person's account is debited for the Withdrawal Amount. I have checked my account number and my bank's routing number with extraordinary care. I am responsible for their accuracy.
  • I hereby certify that no authorization of any party other than mine was necessary to provide for the withdrawal of funds from my bank account
  • I understand that I will receive confirmation specifying the date the electronic withdrawals will begin. I understand that I will continue to make my payment until I receive this confirmation and electronic withdrawals begin.
  • I understand that when my scheduled electronic withdrawal date falls on a weekend or holiday, the withdrawalÌýÌýwill occur on the following business day. This will not change the date of any subsequent withdrawal.
  • I understand that this authorization and the program services do not affect my obligation under my existing mortgage contract or note. I must maintain sufficient funds in my account for withdrawal of my payment amount.
  • I understand that I may be assessed a fee for a payment returned unpaid. I understand that the amount of the fee will not exceed the maximum amount permitted by law.ÌýÌýÌý
  • I understand that withdrawn funds may not be applied to my mortgage until sufficient funds have accumulated for a full payment to be made.
  • I understand the electronic withdrawal amount will vary with changes in escrow or principal and interest components, if applicable.
  • I understand that I must provide M & T Bank notice of at least 5 business days for any requests to modify, change or terminate participation in this program. I understand that if I modify, change, or terminate participation in the program, I may not realize the benefits.
  • I understand that the drafting schedule that I select may cancel any prior draft schedule that currently exists on my account.
  • I understand that my flexible payment drafting may be suspended if my loan is past due.
