Nota has a $25 monthly maintenance charge for the platform and its features. This does not include any costs associated with M&T checking and savings accounts{{d328*}}.

Currently, you can only use Nota on your computer through your web browser. You will still have access to view your accounts on the go through our M&T Mobile app, but Nota is not currently available separately for mobile devices.

Yes. Nota’s platform has great features for the business checking account. You can tag transactions in categories based on income and expenses as well as customizable categories however you run your practice. You also have the option to print checks right from Nota out of your business checking account.

Nota is a product of M&T Bank. M&T Bank is a Fortune 500 Company and was founded over 150 years ago. It is headquartered in Buffalo, NY, but currently has offices and branches in over 14 states across the Northeast and Florida.

If you already bank with M&T Bank, it is a simple process to add the Nota service to your accounts. We integrate with M&T accounts so all you have to do is sign up for Nota and link your accounts to Nota. Your accounts remain the same, and our Customer Success Team will walk you through your Nota setup to assist with linking your accounts.

If you don’t currently have an M&T Business or attorney trust account (IOLA/IOTA/IOLTA) you will need to open M&T accounts. We have dedicated bankers that can determine whether we offer these accounts in your area, and if available, assist with opening accounts and transferring funds. If you already have M&T accounts, we will help you link your accounts with Nota.

Yes, you can still use a branch! We have branch locations in 14 states.����

You have multiple ways to make deposits to your accounts. Including visiting a branch to deposit cash or check. You can wire the money from one bank to another. Many clients use M&T Bank’s Mobile Application to make a mobile deposit during their onboarding meeting to fund their account. Connect with us if you have any questions about your options.
